A Grand March with "full regalia " is conducted after the wedding ceremony. (who, What, & Why). A Grand March displays the NEW UNION of two people, HUSBAND & WIFE, and two FAMILIES. The Grand March should begin with both sets of Parents (if available) leading the way. They are followed by the Bride & Groom, who are chauffered in a lavished (convertible automobile). Next you have the entire weddng party (similar to the wedding march line-up). Then, Relatives from both sides are next in-line. Finally, your guests and friends. Should either family be influential, they can display their wealth at various locations throughout the route and/or by using several expensive automobiles, florals, or Texas live stock to follow last (might need to obtain a city permit for the live stock), etc.. Finally, a Grand March needs music. A musical band playing "love tunes" are positioned at a central location. At the end of the "march", the reception should follow. Prior to the actual wedding, the future Bride and Groom, should prepare the line-up for the "Grand March." You might seek additional advice from a Wedding Planner.
