They are equally hard to have a career in and require very different skills. There are so few jobs in these fields. Ballet dancers are all lean elongated muscles and soccer players have more bulky muscle. I personally think ballet is harder because while both are extreme athletes, ballet is an art and you have to not show all the effort required and make it look easy and natural but it is incredibly difficult. My expertise is with ballet not soccer but I am guessing the amount of training is similar for a career although ballet dancers must train full time in professional schools from a young age and soccer players continue to train in college programs. Ballet careers start when a dancer is still in their teens. For soccer careers start in their 20s.
* On a recreational level it is like comparing apples and oranges as the level of training can be very different. Depending on the level of the program either could be much easier or harder than the other. That being said, ballet is all about perfection of movement and for that reason I think all things being equal it is far more demainding training.

That depends on your personal level of coordination, your discipline, your motivation, and whether or not you like sports. Some people would be good at neither. Others might be good at both. I personally despise All sports, but that's just me. Good luck.

Depends...
If your more graceful and flexible ballet is your goal.
If you e athletic and have strong legs soccer is your goal.

That's like asking, which tastes better: chocolate or vanilla?
